About Glen Oaks
We are the current custodians of Glen Oaks Farm. The farm was first established c1850 by the McGregor family as a dairy. As an interesting aside, we believe we may have ancestral connections with the McGregor clan that was highlighted when we researched Glen Oaks’ history with wonderful help from original descendants.
The original house was made of slabs, with two separate buildings about 3 metres apart: one being a living and cooking area and the other a sleeping area. Today it is one building with the two parts now joined forming a kitchen, with an addition to the original living area that now contains the main bedroom and ensuite.
Our goal is to promote the multiple culinary uses of Australian Native Finger Limes and Elephant Garlic, working with local businesses for the enjoyment of all who visit the Sapphire Coast of NSW.
